My name’s Christian Parkinson — I’m a filmmaker, military history podcaster, YouTuber, and qualified battlefield guide based in South Africa.

I created Redcoat History to tell the forgotten stories of the British Army — from the American Revolution (damned splitters!)  to world wars — with accuracy, wit, and plenty of cordite.

When I’m not scripting YouTube videos or interviewing historians, I’m exploring old battlefields with a map in one hand and a camera in the other.
